My Journey

Silvia Hernández is a Performing Arts educator, music specialist, and theater director with more than 15 years of experience in arts education.

Originally from Cuba and currently based in Beijing, China, Silvia has worked in international education designing meaningful artistic experiences that combine music, theater, creativity, and student leadership.

Her work focuses on helping students build confidence, artistic expression, audience awareness, collaboration, and stage presence through musical theater and performing arts.

Teaching Philosophy

Silvia believes performing arts education should inspire creativity, emotional expression, confidence, and communication.

Her teaching approach combines music, movement, acting, ensemble storytelling, and performance techniques to help students grow both artistically and personally.

Through rehearsals, productions, and collaborative performances, students learn discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the courage to express themselves on stage and beyond.
